Sharing their experiences and innovative ideas of preserving and revitalising textile heritage, artists, designers, museum curators, subject specialists, and cultural practitioners representatives included Koike Kazuko (Co-founder and Member of Advisory Board, MUJI and Director, Towada Art Center, Towada), Lidewij Edelkoort (Dean of Hybrid Design Studies, Parsons School for Design, New York), Errol van de Werdt (Director and CEO, TextielMuseum, Tilburg), Johanna Engman (Curator and Industrial Heritage Coordinator, Textile Museum of Sweden, Borås), Antonia Syme (Director, Australian Tapestry Workshop, Melbourne) and Cosmin Costinas (Executive Director and Curator, Para Site, Hong Kong).
We are honoured to be speaking at this event. Our involvement also included exhibiting a collaborated hand quilted map made by LivingBlue Bangladesh.
