Narrative Made is about exploring heritage textiles and connecting the makers with the buyers.
We work with wholesalers, designers, and retailers within fashion, home and lifestyle markets, to create unique, high quality artisan collections and marketing communications, while sustaining craft traditions and building market exposure for artisans worldwide.
We tell stories of the makers – artisans from remote corners of the world – who weave together generations of culture, history, and technical skill in their craft. The motifs, hand stitches, weaving techniques, and natural dyes all reflect their unshakable identities; identities that they are proud of, and are worth celebrating.
We consult with our clients to conceptualize and plan unique collections for their brand, connect them to the perfect artisan suppliers, create a production calendar and develop engaging stories to elevate their communications.
Narrative Made is founded by Sharon de Lyster. After studying fashion design in Hong Kong, London and New York, Sharon began her designing career at Anteprima and spent the following years at the world-leading trend forecasting company, WGSN. There, she cultivated an intimate understanding of how culture and identity directly impacts style and the fashion industry at large. Her experience and knowledge in Asian heritage textiles, sustainable fashion production and journalism allow her to connect artisans and international brands and tell an empowering story.
